Guidelines for Commenting
When you comment, respond to the post. Stay on topic.
You don’t have to agree with the author’s opinion, but be respectful and polite. Explain why you disagree.
Mention something specific in the post that is done well or is interesting. Don’t just say “good post”.
Use correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Type your comment up in Word or Googledocs to spellcheck, if you need to.
Don’t use chat or texting language like lol, i, or u. No “Hi! Wazzup! Bye!” comments. Plan your comments in a thoughtful way.
Keep your privacy: no personal or identifying information about you, your family, or your friends. Don’t give out last names, school name, phone numbers, user names, or places and dates you can be found
